When talking about the real estate or owners corporation sectors, the elephant in the room is the lack of trust people have in them. 

My work history might explain my business philosophy, and my determination to change the role I play in both sectors.

I started working in real estate in the early 2000's, in a residential sales role.

My experience was mixed and I left the industry - the treatment of both clients and peers did not sit right with me.

In 2010 I was working in owners corporations.  I needed to liaise with members of the real estate industry frequently but could see many gaps in how we, our building residents and our owners were being treated.

It came down to a choice between apathy or action. 

I could continue to complain about my frustrations or I could head to REIV and earn the qualifications to run my own real estate agency. An agency where I could set our business culture high enough so that we could all sleep at night.

So this is what I did.
